Deviant Phrase: "The bullies might say something to you like 30 times, but you repeat it 10,000 times." The bullies constantly harass their victims by name-calling. It affects the person being bullied by lowering their self-esteem.

Deviant Phrase: "Time heals nothing; it's what you do with that time." Many people know that time is a limiting factor and some will even say that time heals things. Time does not heal this situation; it affected the victims mentally, physically, and verbally.

Vocabulary: "Traumatized" refers to a lasting shock as a result of an emotionally disturbing experience or physical injury. All three girls were victims of bullying and it traumatized their hopes for the future.

Vocabulary: "Alleged" is an incident that is declared or stated to be as described. The girls can either move on with their life or stay traumatized for the rest of their life.

Abstract Connection: Jessie J's music video "Who You Are," is a song that can relate to anyone that has been bullied, depressed, and struggled with low-self esteem.

Abstract Connection: Mourning the loss over a loved one can be tough. Just like bullying, time cannot heal the loss of a loved one.
